Originally posted by TyrannosauruschexIt's my experience that women talk a lot more about sex than men, actually.
Has anybody else noticed that, when talking about sexual things, women always like to use the most technical and uncomfortable sounding words whereas men prefer euphamisms to try and play down the dirtiness of what they are talking about.
It seems strange that women claim to be less comfortable when it comes to sex yet they can talk about it with no trouble at all.
We tend to make short comments or discuss about the situation but not the sex itself. Women, on the other hand, love to discuss every freaking detail.
Edit - Generalization caveat, notwithstanding.

Strange, to me it's exactly the other way round (maybe that's because I am a woman...). If you say "penis", it's just a technical term for a body part. If you avoid the word and use something that hints at what you mean without saying it directly, you make it sound like something terrible you can't talk about.
