Granny smokes one from time to time. My fave is Ashton Churchill. Very mild and aromatic, But at $10 ea. it's only for a special occasion.

Every now and then...probably 6 months in between..I indulge in one of the small Al Capone rum twists.

I know..cheap ass cigar but I like em...have no clue what a good cigar would taste like.

I used to smoke cigars. My favourite was probable a Montecristo No. 3, but they're expensive. I can get them here in Canada but you can't in the U.S. because they're Cuban. I used to enjoy a Davidoff too. Macanudos are nice.

Monetecristo No. 3's sound good, maybe you hook me up with some? 🙂

You should shell out and try some, maybe you'll like them, maybe you won't. I hear starting with mild cigars are a good idea...

I smoke an Onyx Reserve maduro which is reasonably smooth with a lightly sweet taste. Very reasonably priced at about $5-6 each.

However, if you are looking for a good starter cigar, the Montecristo White is extreemly friendly, and will have you begging for more. This was the cigar I started on...it is relatively new, debuted in the mid 90's I think, but it is light yet suprisingly complex.

The only two rules you need to remember if you are going to take up cigars are: 1. Always light the cigar with a wooden match (and let the sulfur burn off first). 2. If by your fifth puff you think the thing tastes like hell, don't hesitate to pitch it and try a new one.

Have fun! 😉

No, I don't think they're hard to find, but I think they're Cuban so youy probably can't find them in the U.S. I've had one or two, but I don't care for them, but that's just my personal taste.

Nice, thanks for the advice. 🙂

It also seems that Montecristo white's aren't cuban anymore, but dominican?

Please keep in mind that Romeo Y Juliet was Pres. Clinton's favorite. It may leave a bitter taste in your mouth.

I did in some occasions, it is quite hedonistic, especially if the package is fancy, you are in jazz club or play poker... But I felt sick every time after. 😵
