There are three (possibly four) different 20c coins in New Zealand that are accepted as legal tender. One is the original coin, the second is a special edition Maori coin, and the Australian 20c coin. There are also two $10 notes, one was released during the year 2000, and if folded a special way, apparently revealed "Y2K" in the South Island when looking through the window. It seems out currency doesn't change, it just has additions.
Mind you, new currency will have to be published soon once we have a new hijacker of the throne...

Pretty ironic. I'm one-quarter Native American (no pun intended), find it interesting that they killed them off for greed, and then put their pictures on their own symbols of greed (money). It's really just the way of the world, I guess.
A little off the subject but an interesting thing happened to me one day. I was living in Florida next to the beach, and went out for a walk one morning. As I was walking along, I thought of that old "Footprints in the Sand" story and so I looked down to see my footprints for a moment. As soon as my foot lifted, there was a coin lying there in the sand. I picked it up, took it home and cleaned it off. It was a buffalo nickel. No moral to the story, I guess, but I thought it was a pretty neat occurence.

Native Americans killed white folks and sold their scalps to other white folks.
But then they had good reason!
