Men get called sluts by women as well and it signifigantly lowers their appeal value. In todays society of STD's and HIV bragging and being proud of sleeping around only proves to show an extremely high stupidity factor. No girl wants to be with a guy who has slept around. It's not worth the risk.
I meet more and more young women who talk just as much trash about guys with loose morals. I don't think at this point it's an issue of equality anymore so much as respect. Both guys and girls who choose to disrespect themselves in sexual exploits are leaving themselves vulnerable to labelling.
Men have been slowly loosing their hold on the world as women have gained more rights and power so as a result all they have left is to try and take back some ressemblance of control through emotional manipulation. A tactic which more women are becomming immune to and not giving a crap what simple minded men have to say anyway. I look forward to the strength of future generations of women.
That which does not kill you only serves to make you stronger.
