@relentless-red saidHadn’t thought about that, but probably only appropriate if it’s for the winning England goal.
What are the odds we get to see a dentists chair celebration. 😁
@wycombe-al saidAt least you're a good sport about it! (A thumbs up for you)
England awful as usual, well done Scotland

Surprised not to see any rotation in midfield after a compressed season. You don't want too many young inexperienced players in a derby atmosphere and we looked overawed, tired and lacking creativity. I'd have started Ward-Prowse, Grealish and Hendo if fit. Experience plus rotation. Moral victory for Scotland, but what's Stones doing missing that free header early on. I don't buy the idea he is better this season, he just had a far better partner at City. Disappointed by that.
@Relentless-Red
But harsh on Stones. He looks to have toned up a lot, no longer a 'mistake waiting to happen'
His job is to defend, and England have conceded none in 2 games. Not really looked like conceding either.
Maybe you are a tad annoyed no Liverpool players in starting 11.
Thought Souness' teeth were very impressive. Does he use Klopp's dentist?
@wycombe-al saidWe scraped through to the competition by the skin of our bollox. We're just happy to be in it.

Was a good game for us, no doubt.
@blood-on-the-tracks saidStones missed a sitter.

Only Liverpool player in the squad is injured so your point is a tad bizarre. Wouldn't want to see Hendo come back too quickly. I'd have happily seen Calvert-Lewin on for Kane.
@Relentless-Red
If he missed a 'sitter', (slight exaggeration) , he is still part of a defence that has conceded zero.
Kane looks tired and a busted flush. If I were City, I wouldn't buy him.I
Just pointing out that Liverpool's team is very much built around overseas players. Maybe that just doesn't matter.
@blood-on-the-tracks saidDoes it matter? Interesting question. Does it matter if your side is built around overseas players? It is just as much fun - or is it more fun when it is your countrymen fighting for promotion and hardware?

@relentless-red saidI agree with this, except the Stones bit; it was a decent effort, he didn’t know he had the space he had in that split-second.

For me the elephant in the room is Kane who looks unfit and uninterested. Where was he as leader, shouting at everyone, boosting the team along etc, especially in H2 when everyone was knackered. Kane was awful, invisible in both games.
But you’re right about midfield, should have changed it at half time. Grealish is a handful to play against and in this game Philips wasn’t able to do what he did in the last. Last night he needed experience out there.
I’m getting a little weary of Southgate rebuilding the squad every competition into the latest iteration of “the youngest England team ever”. It’s wearing thin and he and his team need to step up to the mark.
Bottom line; Scotland played really well and deserved at least 1 point.
@blood-on-the-tracks saidThought all getting behind England and not doing club v country thing was how we overcame England's biggest problem, but if you must do 'Liverpool's team is very much built around overseas players' here's the home country players who started last year.

Jordan Henderson, England International, in squad but recovering from injury
Joe Gomez, England International, injured all season
Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, England International, just a couple of games played after injured all season
Trent Alexander-Arnold, England International, and Scouse through youth system
Curtis Jones, Scouse through youth system
Nat Philips, Lancashire
Rhys Williams, Lancashire and youth system
Neco Williams, Welsh came through our academy
Caoimhin Kelleher, Irish international keeper, came through our academy
Andy Robertson, Scotland International
Given Liverpool is significantly smaller than London, find me any non London premier league team that regularly has two players from the city on the pitch at the same time and has done for decades. Quality academy.

Hockey Playoffs Update:
Montreal Canadian 3 Vegas Golden knights2 in over time.
Vegas out played Montreal in every part of the game and controlled it for most of the game. They out shot them 46 to 22 I believe was the final actual shots on net.
I would say in this one Carey Price (Montreal Goaltender) won that game for them. If not for him the score would have been much different and the game pretty much over in the first period.
Montreal take a 2-1 game lead now, but a long road to go yet. I had assumed a long series between these two teams at the beginning. One Team must win 4 games for those of you not familiar with the game. I know many of you are, especially those of you from Sweden who have done very well at the worlds championships throughout the years.
