List a few things you liked as a kid. Or maybe tell me what you wish you had, but didn't get...and how it messed you up for life.

(1) A Monoply Game which I later modified to include more properties.
(2) An Erector Set with diagrams which we were bent on going beyond.
(3) Box of Chess Pieces with a black and red board but no instructions.
(4) A Plastic 'General Forum' Kit (some assembly required), which all
these summers and winters since I'm still trying to put together...
(5) Footballs, helmets, baseball bats, gloves, golf clubs came later.
That was the easy phase. Coaches were stern. Clubs had rules.

Legos.
Plastic Army Men made excellent napalm for attacks on ants once ignited with a magnifying glass, which was itself an antiformic armament.
my favourite childhood toy was a pebble about the size of a child's fist, that had been polished smooth and round by the ocean over thousands of years. its name was harold. sometimes harold did naughty things, like smash windows or thwack into the heads of people he didn't like, or who teased him. he was a naughty pebble. he told me he did these things because he heard voices that told him to do them. i still have harold. he still does naughty things, sometimes.
Well, I think I enjoyed a lot my Atari and in second place came the Star Wars action figures.
But out in the streets my true love was football, so I enjoyed a lot any kind of ball.
Sometimes, at school, when the teacher took the ball from us, we played football with a juice can. I tried to score a header once with it.
A couple of stitches taught me it was not a good idea.
