Homosexuality is a sin. No explanation needed. If your society has reached the point where people are blind to what is a sin, then thats your failing.

Yes I am religious. I believe in God and I am a Christian. I dont apologize for that. If the bible says somethng is a sin, then I will repeat it (if asked) without apologizing. Im not a men-pleaser.
