Hey, let’s talk about how infantile thumbs are, again.
And again.
And again.
diogenes pointing and laughing
at all that plato said
ole bill shakespeare was writing
the nonsense that floated thru his head
nostradamus warned us clearly
of the things that we should dread
and jesus giving us direction
that the children must be fed
all these voices and more
wrote stuff that ought to be read
to avoid the damn insanity
of thumbs both green and red
flogging that horse
as i listen to my collection of songs from blues artists i began to wonder how many times sonny boy williamson's song, "good morning, school girl" had been covered
i thought surely it had to be thousands
as it turns out, its not even close to the most covered song of all time
that honor, according to wikipedia, is the beatles song, "yesterday", followed closely by "fool on the hill" and "rocky raccoon"
@rookie54 saidRookie, you sure hit the thumb on the head with that one.
