@mike69 saidconsidering yer background in psychology, you already understand that speculative diagnosis, especially via the internet, is highly unethical, and while not rising to criminal levels, there are civil lines, boundaries, that one should not cross
Is it possible for people that are here so much they think it’s all reality and how does this effect their mindset?
you are also cognizant that "people that are here so much" is so vague as to be laughable

now,
since you already have someone in mind that you'd like someone else to diagnose for you,
speak the name
@rookie54 saidSo you’ve got nothing but your normal look at me post from the cartoon strips??

@rookie54 saidI think and post only from my own thoughts.

Is it possible for people that are here so much they think it’s all reality and how does this effect their mindset?
I am sure there are a few who think that way, but I am not one of them. π

@mike69 saidIMHO - These forums can (on rare occasion) be quite helpful when exchanging ideas. I discovered a few good ones in the chess only section. Mostly however, they are time wasters that I'm sometimes guilty of indulging in when the workday gets boring.

As to your questions: Is it possible for people that are here so much they think it’s all reality and how does this effect their mindset? - - The answer to that would be different for everyone, since our circumstances and backgrounds are not all alike.

@mchill saidWell after I figured out what IMHO means, I agreeπ. When it comes to all being individuals I feel that term is easily used by people without putting a lot of thought into what an individual is. Many of the forums are filled with the opposite, like in school when we think of ourselves as developing this new identity not formed by groups, who’s in who’s out, peer pressure, attention seekers and on and on. I don’t think there are as many true individuals here as you might think.

@Very-Rusty saidOr listening to how long you’ve been sober one more timeπ.
I think watching paint dry may be more interesting at the moment. π
