I remember going on a school trip to Greenwich, London, to visit the Bicentennial Exhibition in 1976. It was good, but I also remember the smell of boiled eggs and banana in my lunch box, for some reason, and the high jinx on the train. I thank America ~ among other things ~ for its creativity, innovation and contribution to popular music.
