But do the cards have fans themselves?
In the past I have had a passively heated graphics card which would lock the computer when really pushed. (And nothing is going to work it harder than Crysis...)
In my case, I resolved it by drilling out holes in the side of the case, then mounting a great big noisy fan that blew onto the card's heat sink. No problem since then, but the noise was deafening, negating the purpose of having a passively cooled card in the first place...
