I think that the proposal is just too bad a sign of the way the country is going. It is a disgrace.
Firstly, Primary school children are not allowed to make models of Father Christmas, in case it offends other faiths.
this is predominantly a Christian country, and part of our culture is to celebrate Christmas. You should be able to say this (without being branded racist) for the following reason:
I wonder how far you would get if you criticised the Muslim Council for being racist because they only allow muslims in to Mecca.
The answer would be not very.
To be honest, I am very offended that I would be killed if I went in to Mecca.

That's what happens when you let the bed-wetting liberal tyrant minority take over. Europe is looking in a bad way. God forbid anyone mentions the roots of our civilisation in the constitution, lest we offend people who wish to destroy that civilisation.

I agree that there have been other incidents of genocide in history, and undoubtedly there will be many more.
However, there has never before, nor since, been any kind of mass murder which was organised to such an extent as the Holocaust in the late 30s and 40s.
It is not just Germany that needs to remember the Holocaust. The whole of Europe, with the e ...[text shortened]... ing approaching the Holocaust just shows how rampant anti-semitism still is nowadays. Sickening!

Well, in the yearly stampedes maybe, but I don't believe there's a rule that MRoberts of the world will be killed on sight...

Yesterday, a federal judge in the USA ruled that the Pleadge of Allegiance should be removed from schools because of the phrase "One Country, indivisable, "under God". Before long, nopthing will be allowed. No talking, no standing, no sitting, no sleeping, no eating........ no breathing.
They're only purging the public schools of all religious references. It's a good thing, I can't see how this will lead to a life in suspended animation.
Originally posted by bbarrWere there even six million Native Americans in all of the US back in the 1600-1800? Besides, the Indians did have a chance to fight back and kick some arse...ask General Custer...the Mexicans weren't exactly nice to the Indians either...either way, we did "screw" the Indians...I guess back then "Civil Rights" was a phrase meaning the right to secede from the Union....and afterwards continue moving the Indians out of the way of the Gold fields, prime farming land, and prime buffalo hunting grounds so tourists could shoot them from the train windows....leaving thousands of carcasses to rot...what a shame!

The Muslim Council of Britain yesterday advised the government to get rid of Holocaust Memorial Day, as it is offensive to Muslims.
I find this difficult to believe, seeing as 6 million people were murdered and it nothing to do whatsoever with muslims?
How can it bee offensive?
