I think that the proposal is just too bad a sign of the way the country is going. It is a disgrace.
Firstly, Primary school children are not allowed to make models of Father Christmas, in case it offends other faiths.
this is predominantly a Christian country, and part of our culture is to celebrate Christmas. You should be able to say this (without being branded racist) for the following reason:
I wonder how far you would get if you criticised the Muslim Council for being racist because they only allow muslims in to Mecca.
The answer would be not very.
To be honest, I am very offended that I would be killed if I went in to Mecca.

I agree that there have been other incidents of genocide in history, and undoubtedly there will be many more.
However, there has never before, nor since, been any kind of mass murder which was organised to such an extent as the Holocaust in the late 30s and 40s.
It is not just Germany that needs to remember the Holocaust. The whole of Europe, with the e ...[text shortened]... ing approaching the Holocaust just shows how rampant anti-semitism still is nowadays. Sickening!

Yesterday, a federal judge in the USA ruled that the Pleadge of Allegiance should be removed from schools because of the phrase "One Country, indivisable, "under God". Before long, nopthing will be allowed. No talking, no standing, no sitting, no sleeping, no eating........ no breathing.

They're only purging the public schools of all religious references. It's a good thing, I can't see how this will lead to a life in suspended animation.
