@divegeester saidRuss didn't personally invite you?
I think I was referred to RHP from a group at Friends Reunited.
First person I met here on the forums was @Trev33 who immediately trolled me.
@suzianne saidSomething we can agree on then.
Facebook is evil.
In fact, all social networking can die in a fire.
I still have a Facebook account but using it less and less.
The appeal of living as anonymously as possible is very appealing.

@divegeester saidSince several centuries ago at least. Lewis Carroll spelt it that way, at least some times. Of course, he also wrote things like "did'n't", so he was a bit peculiar.
Since when has “today” been hyphenated?
@very-rusty saidYou clearly don't remember one of the old names of this site... it was red hot, back then.
LOL....Only you!
I was referred to this site by two of my ex-colleagues, two brothers. All three of us have changed jobs since, and neither of them has moved - except that one of them has moved to another province... - but I met the other one a couple of months ago. Neither of them has moved for years; I am still here.
@shallow-blue saidAre you talking about Red hot pawn? 🙂

What do you think it was called back in 2006? 🙂

@kewpie saidYou were my first RHP friend. The first games we played you told me that I needed a "killer instinct" , you thought I was too kind and you were a much better player than I was. I was very happy to meet you. 🙂
Met a person on a penfriends site. He said he played chess and I can never find a live opponent, so I did a web search. He wandered off at the end of the first game but I'm still here, two accounts and 15 years later.
@shallow-blue saidArchaic.

Before that happened people were ducked.
