I'm actually in the process of building a display cabinet for my various chess sets. I hope to be finished in early April.

I dont have that many - probably about 5 or 6. I would quite like one really nice large wooden one, rather then lots of smaller novelty ones which are more decorative then functional.
Still, with that said, most of the analysis I do is on a mini travel set when I am in bed at night or just woken up in the morning.

thats sweet, i've thought about building a series of shelves on my wall that i can set them all up on. the only other country i've been to is mexico so i got one of those cheesy fake jade composite looking ones. my ultimate goal is to get a huge set for my back yard.

I passed by book store one day and there were so many cool chess sets... They are expensive but very large and beautiful, I said oh-oh, eh.... but I did not have many in pocket in that instance. Should I buy something anyway. At home I have very nice and fancy chess set but it is just not enough.
