YOU SAY KING JAMES MAY HAVE TAKEN SOME EDITORIAL LIBERTIES WITH A BOOK GOD WROTE?!!

i've been casually collecting sets for the past 8 years. so i counted yesterday and found that i have 16. anybody else have lots of chess sets? 🙂 holy crap i have like 500 chess pieces
I have several but nothing compares to the classic Stanton 3 inch wooden pieces with the wooden inlaid board. My wife bought me an antique wooden board of unknown wooden inlay squares and mother of pearl fancy inlay scrolling and art work at the corners. No idea of price or any history. The dealer told her he got it with the store. I polish it with bees wax and bought an expensive set of 3 and a half inch ebonized pieces of Stanton mfg. I love it but never get to show it off. No chess players within reasonable driving distance.
