This is a general interest linguistics and semantics
question. How would you define, beyond the mere
dictionary entry, someone who is unafraid and
pioneering?

Someone who truly possessed those traits would probably deny having them (they do sound trite and politically correct in any event).

I prefer 'fearless' to 'unafraid' and 'trailblazer' to 'pioneer.'

A fearless trailblazer; someone who boldly goes into the unknown, setting the path for others to follow. Someone who is not held back or inhibited by the mockery of others, who lack the courage of his conviction.

Or to quote Harold Rosenberg, a member of the "herd of independent minds."

Someone who was "unafraid and pioneering" would not ignore direct on topic questions to their thread OPs; and especially not blame the ignorance on their computer mouse telling them to do it.

These are very good points, gang.

How can someone be unafraid and pioneering in the world
of online forums? Something tells me that RHP is in need of
someone with those characteristics to take us to the next
level as a community.

painful self flagellation,
in the subway station,
while yer mum looks at you like yer a mutant...
they hang you by yer heels,
and ask you how it feels,
while the pope claps his hands in amusement...

"pioneer: noun. pi·o·neer \ˌpī-ə-ˈnir\

: a person who helps create or develop new ideas, methods, etc.

: someone who is one of the first people to move to and live in a new area."

Stay away from me, you pioneering and unafraid pervert.

We all know you can copy paste and spam, but can you have
one single original thought? Didn't think so.

Why do you feel that copy/pasting forum guidelines at people is in someway intimidating?
