As I said in my earlier post, I questioned my students on when a tap became a smack and when a smack became a slap, hit etc. And how old is a child before it recieves "taps"? Some people have been known to say 1 year old - I say that is the start of abuse.
We had a talk about it and after chatting to her sister, who has raised two daughters and two boys, it seems the consensus is between 2 and 5 one good smack on the bum suffices.
We hashed this out while she was till pregnant with our first, as we've seen parents fighting after one punishes and the other didn't agree.
That just does the kid no good.

So, following your idiotic logic:
If I spank my daughter she will become violent.
But taking things from her is OK?
So teaching her to steal and bully is OK, as long as I don't spank her?
I hope to one day live in a world that has laws that allow me to shoot the stupid.

The fact that you refuse to answer such a simple question with such an aggressive assumption speaks volumes.
You are probably another one that thinks it is good to hit children!
You all should be given a good whipping!
