Did you notice theat Grieveous was coughing alot? He was semi-organic and therefore had internal organs (respiratory), and Obi-wan basicallay shot him in the heart, and not by accident.
That's how it was explained to me anyway.

When Palpatine went through his transformation the entire cinema erupted in raucous laughter. How can you take it seriously?
The film is for kids. The first film I ever saw in a cinema was The Empire Strikes Back, and I loved it but the films aren't as relevant to me now since I gained adulthood.
My little sister loved it though; she dressed as Darth Vader: very brave, don't think I would have had the stones.

I meant the self-destruct button in the lava planet. They destroyed all the installations because he hit a VERY exposed button while fighting with Anakin. Very ridiculous, IMO.
Originally posted by PalynkaThe way i saw it was that with all the sabre strikes they just wrecked the control consol thus shutting down the cooling. Not hitting the self destruct.

I agree with everything starrman has written in this thread.
ESB is genius, BY FAR the best of the six, IMO.
i saw ROTS last night, it was the best of the prequels, but none of them have the character chemistry of the 'original' three.
one thing i don't understand:
lucas went to so much trouble to keep some stylistic integrity across the six movies (eg using the identical fonts for the run-ins and those cool 1970s sliding-across screen changes). it seems he wants people to be able to watch them in chronological order rather than in the order they were made.
so WHY OH WHY do they reveal in ROTS the actual NAMES of padme's children and WHY OH WHY do they reveal anakin's new name and show us his new costume??? if they'd just left it at him crawling out of the pool we could still go on to watch the 'original' movies (ANH, ESB and ROTJ) without ruining the whole tension of luke-leia-han and also the massive twist of 'luke, i am your father'.
duh.
*PROBABLY SPOILERS IN THIS THREAD*
I saw it last night. I wasn't blown away. The transformation from Anakin the Jedi to Darth Vader didn't seem natural; it's not something I could relate to. Also, when Palpatine turns ugly, it doesn't seem to make sense; why would that happen? Because he was using the Dark Side for too long in one shot?
The fight with Obi-Wan and Darth Vader was pretty good, especially the end when Darth Vader gets his legs cut off and then catches on fire 🙂.
It was ok. Maybe I'm just not enough of a Star Wars fan.

What about Darth Vader saying: "If you're not with me, you are my enemy." to which Obi Wan says: "Only a sith could see things so black and white."
How classic is that?

OK, here's some good stuff:
I'm glad Dookoo ate it. He was so lame.
Grevious was pimp. I liked that guy. R2D2 was pimp too. The lizard bird mount was kinda neat. The droids that landed on Obi-Wan's ship and started dismantling it were cool too.
