Wishing to avoid an unpleasant
Sce, e, e, ene,

So he waits behind
Writing fifty times "I must not be
So, o, o, o.."
But when she turns her back on the boy,
He creeps up from behind.
Bang! Bang! Maxwell's silver hammer
Came down upon her head.
Bang! Bang! Maxwell's silver hammer
Made sure that she was dead.

Am I the only one that gets annoyed when people that are so-so song writers take credit for well known singer song writers' songs? Pete Seeger didn't care but he was victim of this. Townes Van Zandt (Pancho & Lefty for example) is another. etc.
Of course "song writers" expect this sort of thing, but it bugs me when it happens to the singer/song writers. I know, I know...that's life.
