I am nearly 50 years old. When I was 18 it was suggested I get bi focals. All this time I have gotten single vision glasses. Today I got a pair of bi focals. To me now everything seems to be out of focus or not in the right range to see it. 😞
Any other players here who play OTB chess semi blindfolded??
If you play any golf, you'll know what I mean by this:
You can only play the shots you brought along in the bag today....
(If you don't play golf, you can probably figure it out anyway 🙂)
It takes some initial getting used to, but once you accept it, you stop worrying about it quite so much, adapt...and enjoy more.
Don't forget to smell the flowers.
