A couple of years ago my ex-husband sent me a brand new 10 quart pressure cooker.

Today, that cooker provided the means for feeding 30 hungry folks on the streets of Tacoma.

I just want him to know that 10 quarts was some pretty amazing foresight.

'Inkling'

If you change 'i' to an 'ä' in Swedish, you have the word 'änkling' which means widower.
Somehow I think there's a mystery novel in this. 😉

The most interesting and intriguing thing there is. Beautiful thought.

The thoughtless impact of ‘mother’ nature upon the post menopausal female libido is akin to the dishwasher with a faulty microchip ~ the door opens, it’s willing to load, it remembers every cycle ....but can’t quite get hot enough for a satisfactory wash!

A little like 'being on the pill' in those days - some fascination got lost there.

Yes!! Not to mention the emotional irregularity. I used to have thoughts of just driving into a wall or off the motorway.

I remember, life became 'synthetic', and all this talk about sexual freedom, I just didn't want it any more. So in that way it was an effective contraceptive. 🙂

Yes I see that after rereading your post. My partner likes sex on the beach...the drink I mean. 😲
