I'm dreaming of a White Christmas - racist yes/no
Black puddings - racist yes/no?
Black ice on the roads - racist?
That is the problem with this world, people see a colour and automatically assume it has racist overtones.

[b]Is Black Friday racist?
The phrase refers to retailer income statements finally becoming profitable
according to the seasoned gumshoes and bright professors at Snopes U.

Black ink being used for positive numbers and red ink being used for negative numbers, so "going from the red into the black" means finally turning a profit on the year.
Which is patently stupid, since most corporations never work in the red any more. They spend all year, from Jan. 1, in obscene amounts of black ink.
Free Enterprise is now the state religion, and Greed is the new Grace.

After Black Friday, why can't we look forward to a White Christmas?

And all this talk of a communist weatherman with a drinking problem?
Can't we just be a bit more loving and try to get along??
All of this talk has me feeling blue and seeing red!!
Is Black Friday racist?
No. I've just read the book. Friday was indeed a blackman.
Robinson Crusoe rescued him from the cannibals.
Apparently Ruby Tuesday was white though you tend to sssociate
ruby with the colour red. (maybe she was a communist.)
I could be wrong because...'She would never say where she came from.'
Wednesday from the Addams family was white though nobody
that I can recall referred to her as white Wednesday.
This is a silly thread.
