it's out by an hour. I am 1 hour ahead of GMT but have to set myself to 2 hours ahead to get the correct time. I think this started when we switched to summer time.
If you put your timezone 1 hour ahead then it should be OK for you too - if you can ignore the ~7 minutes that some bear haters seem to think it's still out by π
The problem with being off an hour is possibly something to do with compensating for 'daylight saving time', which I don't think was programmed to work automatically. That means you need to offset your time zone an extra hour to make the correction. It will need to be reset again in the fall, at which time your time zone should be correct again for your local time.
The other problem is that the server seems to gain time a little each day, and needs to be corrected periodically. Most of the computers I have owned over the years have this same problem of slowly gaining time.
