Im afraid i dont quite follow you here. i understand the free will part, anyone can think what they want.
But then, i dont understand what faith (faith in a religion or also in a general way?) has to do with fate (uncontrolable? you cant decide what your fate is?).
Could you please try to explain this to me in an easy, simple written, way, so my tiny brai ...[text shortened]... s information before i start a game, im not just giving up my queen for free...am i cheating?
Your Fate. Your Heavenly Reward. Life, or Death. The only catch is that you must decide some time before your earthly demise.
And remember what Rush said: "If you choose not to decide, you still have made a choice."

Ill have to admit, you are right, i wasnt really listening i had music on and stuff, in fact, its even worse, i didnt even ask the question to god😳
to be honest, i wouldnt know how...i guess i can just ask the question in my head right? no need to shout...if id shout i guess he cant hear me all up in the clouds anyway.
May i ask you if you ever asked god a question, and did you get a reply?
Please understand that the answer you get may not be the answer you desire.
And no, you are right. You don't need to shout. You don't even need to speak. He reads your heart.
Edit: Forming your question into words, though, even in your head, may help you to understand your question more thoroughly.

If you will/can tell me who or what you were befor you were born, I can tell you what you what/whom you will be after you die. Doubt not my statement. I do have the answer and will happily supply you with the answer. It is NOT religous in nature.

Well, I respect people and their beliefs. But that question was oriented towards more philosophical/agnostic/atheist type of forum posters because for people who believe in God and life after death, my question doesn't have any sense in the first place.
In addition to that, I am familiar with religious explanations so I wanted to hear some I am unfamiliar with.

No, I've heard of the study he cites.
21 grams, or 3/4 ounce.
This is based on the weight of the body just before death compared to the weight just after death.
Not saying it's right or it's wrong, I'm just saying I've heard of this.
So yes, that study exists, but besides being rather fishy, not even that study claims that every soul weighs 21 g.

You can, but that type of "hope" is called faith. It's found in christianity (which incidentally is not found in the Spirtuality forum).
Not many among the riff-raff of the General Forum understand this much.
zozo is beginning to look for answers though. That is a good thing.
Originally posted by Nordlysi agree, but my point was there has been scientific study concerning the soul.i dont know if its true or not (21 grams). i am not a scientist. but i do know with out a doubt, for a fact , life is eternal. Our spirit does go on. we are all spirit.this physical body and world we are using will pass though.
