If you will/can tell me who or what you were befor you were born, I can tell you what you what/whom you will be after you die. Doubt not my statement. I do have the answer and will happily supply you with the answer. It is NOT religous in nature.

But then, i dont understand what faith (faith in a religion or also in a general way?) has to do with fate (uncontrolable? you cant decide what your fate is?).
Could you please try to explain this to me in an easy, simple written, way, so my tiny brai ...[text shortened]... s information before i start a game, im not just giving up my queen for free...am i cheating?
The Fate I said you decide through your own Faith, is the Fate you will receive upon your earthly death.

Your Fate. Your Heavenly Reward. Life, or Death. The only catch is that you must decide some time before your earthly demise.

And remember what Rush said: "If you choose not to decide, you still have made a choice."

to be honest, i wouldnt know how...i guess i can just ask the question in my head right? no need to shout...if id shout i guess he cant hear me all up in the clouds anyway.

May i ask you if you ever asked god a question, and did you get a reply?
Yes, I have. Many times.

Please understand that the answer you get may not be the answer you desire.

And no, you are right. You don't need to shout. You don't even need to speak. He reads your heart.

Edit: Forming your question into words, though, even in your head, may help you to understand your question more thoroughly.

Before I was born, I was a fetus.

My idea of God happens to be "the God of the Bible".

The God of Abraham and Moses, the Creator.
Jesus, the Christ, of the New Testament.
The Holy Spirit.

The Triune God.

In addition to that, I am familiar with religious explanations so I wanted to hear some I am unfamiliar with.
this is response to zozozozo who gave his opinion to ivan about lack of scientific study concerning the human soul. this is incorrect. for one,a Dr. MacDougall of Haverhill,Mass studied this extensively and came to the conclusion the human soul actually weighs 21 grams. talk to any one who has died and later revived about life after death.Life is eternal. The spirit or"soul" does not die

No, I've heard of the study he cites.

21 grams, or 3/4 ounce.

This is based on the weight of the body just before death compared to the weight just after death.

Not saying it's right or it's wrong, I'm just saying I've heard of this.

I hadn't heard of it, but googled it. The Snopes article about it is quite interesting: http://www.snopes.com/religion/soulweight.asp
So yes, that study exists, but besides being rather fishy, not even that study claims that every soul weighs 21 g.

I must admit, my estimation of you just went up a few notches.

Not many among the riff-raff of the General Forum understand this much.

zozo is beginning to look for answers though. That is a good thing.

i agree, but my point was there has been scientific study concerning the soul.i dont know if its true or not (21 grams). i am not a scientist. but i do know with out a doubt, for a fact , life is eternal. Our spirit does go on. we are all spirit.this physical body and world we are using will pass though.
