hey, I know nothing about what Russ is thinking other than that he is working hard on getting a functional and official system in place to spot and deal with engine use. I didn't know he'd removed JamesMaster10000 from a tourney and I don't know his reason why. Do you?
What I do know a little about is why forum mods have let accusations slide for ...[text shortened]... modding certain posts that the site admin (Russ) have changed policies or opinions towards it.
What you said isn't complicated, but it is doubletalk.

It was said (or at least insinuated) that accusations were being unmoderated because the mods accepted them to be true. I simply said that this wasn't the reason, and to state that silence means agreement is a pretty big assumption.

I read this to be that, if the accusations are not just accusations any more then they must be more than accusations. I appologuise if I misinterpeeted it, but what did you mean by this if it wasn't that the accusations were now accepted fact by the people who weren't deleating them?
nb. what do they say about people who assume? Unless it's something about being a mother of all something or others I honestly don't know... or is it the "U and me" one?

I just meant that accusations are taken more seriously now, not that they are 100% true. But I do see how this could be misinterpreted.

I'm not letting this thread die ... A lot of people here cheat and even more seem to leave as a cause of this ... Sander (tejo) and eyeqpc (Robbo) are just 2 examples of many.
We need something that stop that cheating and you need to do something against James Not so funny Woodly ... Common, this guy is a joke, close to 1800 (STILL) ...
I fear that you will loose a lot of subscribers if nothing will be done ... I know I ain't easy but I've got a rock solid point here so please action something (and ban James Fritz Woodley !!)

It is sad that you turn around to a great player and accuse him of cheating... And just for the record,
a) Dave has never accused Sander of cheating
b) Sander has given so much 'chess' advice and help that an engine user never could (shall we ask James about certain openings, positional play, etc. ??)
c) Sander plays for a Dutch club and is recognised there for his strenghts as well
It's people like who know jack about chess (compared to Sander) that drive good people away with accusations that are not even remotely true ... But that doesn't matter, you had your moment, well done for pissing of one of my best friends at RHP and one of the best players as well

1)It was not me who threw the accusations about Sander,and you know well who's done it,and I find strange that now you speak so.
2)I was a spectator of the whole episode as it was others to do the job,I only received the ''information'' that he was leaving Rhp due to cheat issues a week before it happened.
3)I asked for proofs and I received games' analysis of some games,all flawless:I shared this infos with you,and you just said nothing about it.
Here you spoke like I was searching for glory and pissed off Tejo till he left.

Evidence is undeniable? fritz?! you have or know fritz?! woodley has lost so many games i've lost count. his wins, or as his chart has so heroically climbed has been against 1100-1500 players. Perhaps we need some light shed on fritz, since you know fritz software so well. Perhaps, chessmaster 10,000 will enlighten us. Because if any of you were using such software, I'd be one happy Garry Kasparov, because machines are stupid in correspondence, unless, you could shed some more bitter light on fritz.
