Royalchicken asked in one of his recent posts whether there was any hard evidence of Jezus Christs existence:

Josephus was a priest, a soldier, and a scholar. He is famous for being the most credible secular historian to record the existence of Jesus Christ outside of the New Testament.

I thought some of you might find it interesting.

I do find it interesting.I think the question is wrong. The question should not be did HE exist but does He exist

You're absolutely right. I was referring to His historical existence on our earth during the times of emperor Augustus.

I live near the mouth of a small river. In the summer, when the tourists mob the place, I take off my shirt, extend my arms, and march dignifiedly into the water, with my head erect. The spectacle of a slightly built fellow with too much hair walking into the water evokes the Jesusesque in the minds of some of the tourists who fish on a nearby bridge. If they'd like to think I am absolving them of the sin of mackerel massacre, then I'm glad they take comfort in this.

I find a good swim wakes me up.

Personaly i believe in both. Jesus is Gods only son and if you believe in God i think you should believe in Jesus.

I don't know what you mean when you use the term 'God'. But sure, I believe that there was a guy named Jesus. From what I've read he seemed like quite a radical.

I heard that some Buddhist texts talk of a rather pensive dude wandering about in what would be the 20s AD in East Asia. There is speculation that Jesus really picked up some Buddhist ideas which became part of his teachings.

Then again, this was told to me by an American pseudo-Buddhist and self-proclaimed Reike practitioner who told me I have no aura 🙁

God = the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.
