I'll concede that you have some valid points with regards to accuracy but the fact is that errors still remain for example.

There will be different accounts as to the average speed the car was traveling at, but the blue toyota would probably be remembered. If 1 out of 10 people said it was a green Toyota, his story would probably be thrown out.
Church conspiracy has little to do with original text. I can't represent the Church. As we know there any indeed many churches that act in a way they shouldn't , however early churches seemed to treat biblical accuracy with extreme seriousness.

I have read it, but it is believed to be fraudulant. It completely contradicts other Biblical chapters, hence it was not taken seriously.
