A nice dinner time argument.(Which got heated) Who is better?
The Juggler or the Magician.
We agreed the Juggler must use everyday objects, and that resulted in ball like objects like fruit. Specialty made clubs and the like were eliminated due to that being "props"
We agreed that the Magician could use no props and only use everyday objects like money. Cards were eliminated.
So who is better?
The Juggler juggling 5 oranges to a techno beat.
Or the slight of hand Magician making coins disappear?
Believe it or not 7 of us argued over this.
4 went with the Juggler 3 went with the Magician.
And you?
(Please stay in the agreed limitations, no props for either, only everyday objects)

I think this is a question of what you appreciate in a performer. On the night, which had the better interaction with the crowd? Which built the show around their skills and not just showcased them? Which had the higher technical ability (assuming you are able to judge)? After all that, which do you prefer; magic or juggling?

Both represent little more than court jesters whose sole purpose is to amuse, entertain or please some assembled crowd.
Crowds are fickle. Moods on any given evening are subject to change. 'Better' is far too limited and subjective a question.
