I'm afraid I don't understand the theme--I'm not aware of anyone who has "marched to a different drummer" so to speak, and been banished along with his family. I find the US over the years to be quite tolerant of hippies, yippies, lesbos, hairheads, fairies, dykes, metalheads, black panthers, gray panthers, Mormons, JWs, the KKK, Aryan Nation, pride marches for gays/lesbos/bisexuals/transgenders, atheists and conscientious objectors. The only thing I've seen Americans NOT cotton to is criminals.

In this instance, however, the "our cadence" and "our kind" plurals are operative and go to the crux of the topic.

Just imagine what the world is coming to... it's mayhem. There are actually people out there now crazy enough to do something
different, something which is definitely not in step with our cadence. Banish them all and their families. They're not our kind.
Your sentiments?
