Well, for one... the oriental girl having the side of her face blow-torched was a little gratuitous for my taste. In fact, the whole tenor of the film didn't seem to serve any other purpose than to glorify violence. If this is entertainment (which I equate with a pleasurable experience, ergo good) then something is very wrong. Of course, it could be that I just had an inimical reaction on the day.
Officially is rated as innapropriate for young people but everybody watches this anyway. As far as I see it (maybe I have tight horizonts, who knows) this and any other similar movies are innapropriate for kids or adults, no difference.
The most horrifying thing is that kids are so used to this violence (which is wide-accepted) that it is not big deal for them, they actually find it funny.
Then, when happens in real life, or after some school masacre, everybody are "shocked".
What is wrong with this world ?
