About 25 years ago I got knee injury (torn meniscus) playing hockey. The specialist I was sent to said that I could get surgery done in London (Ontario) in a year or in Sarnia (Ontario) in 6 months or lastly Guelph (Ontario) in 3 months. I opted for the latter. Arthroscopic surgery fixed the issue. While they were doing the surgery the surgeon “found” arthritis there and he “scrapped” it (I think that’s how he described it)….anyway he said that since I had it in my left knee I’d likely get it in my right one too, eventually. He was right. I am now having to have them “look at” the right one. The specialist is saying that they are not doing the arthroscopy thing any more and after they look at the upcoming X-rays they will determine a course of treatment or maybe they may just let it go. I am somewhat stoic about it as deep down I knew that since I played a lot of physical sports these types of issue were probably going to be in my future. I should have asked the surgeon who performed my first knee surgery what the winning numbers were in the then Lottery were as he seemed to have the ability to predict the future.😲😉

If you’re cooking from scratch and buying organic products when you can you can’t go far wrong; just like our grandmothers did.
