Let the record show that Mike showed moral weakness by participating in the pseudohijacking of his own thread 😛😉😲[/b]
It's prolly me. I am into my sixteenth hour on nothing but diet cokes... my brain is just about the consistency of a good german blood pudding. I'll try to research it later, but for the life o'me right now i have no clue. Reviewing that with this... honest to god i can't think where my basic argument is different.
Later.

Crikey. The one I have been higlighting all along. Possibly it is not a difference if I can't articulate it better than I have.

I had previously stated in this thread that the culpable "communist" are those "who enforce communism". I would have been better served to state is as "those who enforce the doctrine" involved, etc. I took it for granted that the unculpable communist, ie, member with no enforcement power are as innocent as the snow.

It's that history thing again. At the start of this thread I mentioned that Liberals care not a hoot for history. Short term or long. In the short term, in this thread, we were discussing ... VERY SPECIFICALLY... the captured COMBATANTS being held in Camp Rhino, Cuba. Of the Approx. 8,000 Captured Combatants in Afghanistan... for those interested in the history... hint, hint... After many months of investigation, Only 670 prisoners were found to be "too dangerous for normal repatriation." These determinations were based on testimony of Afghan civilians, captured written records, testimony of their cohorts and intercepted intelligence. These < here is the answer to not being "innocent victims"> CAPTURED, DANGEROUS LEADERS AND INSTIGATORS were shipped off to Cuba. Their number has grown and is growing as we speak. I think to about 1100 now. Of the remainder, some spent time in Afghan prisons, but the vast majority were released and sent home. They have to check in once every month with a "parole" officer, and they are on probation. They screw up, they face the Special Forces.
The Point: If you thought I had changed my mind on innocent NON-ENFORCERS, then rest assured. I agree with the policy of letting them return to their homes. The thing that really bugs me is how you and nobody else seems to notice that we "magically" went from a discussion of A LIMITED SET OF CAPTURED POW to some silly, non-related hypothetical. Why? Was not the straight-forward discussion of reality enough? It was for me. At least I was smart enough to assume that "any hypothetical immediately following a concrete example, to be logical, must contain the known facts of the example".
Last Post for the day. I gotta get some work done.
PS... Notice the mangled, mixed metaphor on "snow" above?😳😠Take that, Mrs. Meldrum! Nobody cares! Told you so!

StarValleyWy,
I'd be interested to hear your thoughts on bbarr's post of 00:12 and richjohnson's of 00:20 - they seem fairly telling points against your position.
I'll try to look up those and respond. It will not be today. I played all day yesterday and today i have customers breathing down my neck! Later. Thanks.
