@eladar saidMy dad was nearly 80 when he died. The closer he got to it, the more it scared the sh* out of him.
@wolfgang59
If you are around 80 I do not think you should fear death.
My dad, father of eight and husband to my mother (who can incite fear into a multitude of gods), warrior and sailor, chief of the boat was the bravest man I’ve ever known.
I think a person should be around 80 before they should say something like that...
I’m not, so I won’t.

@eladar saidYou, sir, are a ghoul.
In the US we have had 40 thousand deaths.
Each week in the US we have 50 thousand deaths, each year many people die of the flu. We had 80 thousand flu deaths a year or two ago.
It is a wonder why this thing is being hyped as it is. It is not good for some people's mental health.

@lemondrop saidDear lemondrop,
it's never going to be the same
at least in my lifetime
so much suffering
so many brave people
I cry myself to sleep at night
I wish I was an optimist
Take good care of yourself.
May all beings be well.
@divegeester
I looked at your earlier link - Spot on, you only need to scratch the surface eh!
As for the I.Q. there was an add on my screen here yesterday 'Free I.Q. Test', so spent 20 minutes only to discover a £10.00 fee for the results. F that I'll take my chances... 😴

@hakima saidThat was how I always used to challenge the stupid model of personality development that used to be taught to psychiatrists in the 1980s which pretty much said your personality had developed by 25 with no more growth or change to come. I used to think okay, if I gave you all the life expectancies of a group of 80 year olds let's see if you have gained the wisdom and growth required to handle it.
