@neilarini saidMan that one is walking a fine line! 😉
Delivery
There was a young poet from York
Who wrote many tomes about storks
You can't go wrong
With a bird that's so long
And brings babies to ladies and lords.

@ponderable saidWell it is much better than mine!
I try my luck (and hope that it not a complete failure)
Orange man
There was a man with orange hair
who led his friend to despair
he wouldn't accept
anything for a fact
that didn't come out of his rear.

@lemondrop saidlemondrop proclaimed he was out
I'm done
this should get some thumbs up
but the temptation was much too stout
he's a freak and a cad
quasimodo type sad
all the rest us can do is pout
@rookie54 saidI know a lad who lies all the time
lemondrop proclaimed he was out
but the temptation was much too stout
he's a freak and a cad
quasimodo type sad
all the rest us can do is pout
people forgive him he's very kind
sings in the choir
but still such a liar
would always help you out of a bind

@indonesia-phil saidForgot to give it a title, let's call it;
A man who lived in the Bahamas
Got fed up with life's little dramas
So he gave up employment
Now he lives for enjoyment
And spends his life in his pyjamas.
Nightwear.

culinary
There was a man from Manchester
who had some fame as a jester
he created a rhyme
and spiced it with thyme
but People preferred to eat Chester
off Topic: The Limerick Competition has the first eight places in the recommended thread list I think this is an achievement!

@very-rusty saidMy bad, the cheese is called "Chester" in Germany but in Britain it is called Cheshire cheese…

@ponderable saidYou don't have to disregard anything. I didn't know Chester was what they called cheese in Germany. I'll have to look that up, you see one can always learn new things.

No one (as far as I know) has attempted to eat the city of Chester but there's a first time for everything. And Cheshire cheese isn't up to much.
