why have you entered in a tournament which you will win without any effort which you are clearly over rated?
You have put in your profile it will only take a few weeks to get back to no.2 spot on RHP.
Give the other guys who have worked hard at their rating to get a tournament win under their belt.
He needs games to lift his rating to a level that reflects his skill.
I blame RHP admin ( incl. Phlab et al ) for this situation as they could have resolved it very simply. I posted earlier that a solution might have been found in the act of just giving Track an honourary rating of about 1800 to lift him away from the vulnerable 1300 - 1700 players and effectively make him a more attractive player in terms of higher rated players who would be more inclined to play him as, in the event of a loss, the drop in the rating would be less traumatic.
But no. It all fell on deaf ears so I say, stop whinning to Track and direct your gripes to Russ for it is he and he and his alone than can resolve this.
Failing that just get over it. Track will eventually regain the lost ground at the expense of lower rated players simply because Russ et al couldn't / didn't manage his return to active play.

As for blaming Russ, surely the reason why Tracks rating slumped was due to him mismanaging his games workload at a time when he was changing jobs.
OK Russ could stop players of the quality of Track from entering lower rated tournaments following a timeout ratings slump. A simple ratings limit based on a %age of your highest ever rating would dictate the lowest possible tournament you could enter, which I don't think would be to hard to implement but has pitfalls too.
Would people rated at say 2000+ be happy to play Track in a tournament when his rating was down at say 1300-1500 knowing that if he won their ratings would take a hammering.
There is really no solution other than for people not to disappear when playing lots of games and suffering lots of timeouts which totally screw up their true rating.

don't mind admitting it was me
against most players of a similar rating
i could have come back from swapping my queen for a bishop
early doors done it before and i will do it again
up against a vastly superior player i had no chance didn't even have a chance in the other game where i kept my queen til the end
