Location, Location, Location

Has anyone else noticed that people write some rather lame things when it comes to entering their location into their forum profile?

I'm sure there are someone's got a good one; who's is it?

Now, back to the matter at hand. Why do people write these dorky things into their location? Do they think they're being clever? Is there something about the idea of location that begs the attempt to be creative?
