I choose the factors I did because they're A) Important and B) Easily Quantifiable. I suppose I could do something with land unit mobility, like adding up all movement points for each country but that would heavily skew the results towards those nations with a lot of cavalry. I'm just not sure how big of an advantage land mobility is and, at this point, ...[text shortened]... ly quantifiable either. The whole thing is a rough guide; use it or ignore it as you choose.

I do tend to discount the advantages of mobility in games like Starcraft. Maybe I should take peoples' navies more seriously. But in my case...the biggest navy in the world won't help anyone against me! At least not yet. I only have one coastal province and I already intended to keep it defended since it's on my land border.

I'll let you in on a secret: I'm dying to see the new turnfile, too!! Hopefully only a couple more hours; go have a beer and a game of darts or whatever they call darts over there.

I suppose I could go out for an hour to the pub while it is open...but I really want to get into this university (anyone from Rose Bruford theatre college...I hope you're listening 😉) so I think I should try to be concious tomorrow.
Usually when I've started an evening with that thought, I've ended it several days later lying on a sidewalk.
