That game is awesome. My most memoriable moment in that game (Solomon's Key) was when I found out that you could blow up the princess fairy with your fireballs.
Also the first time I went to the torture room for being too greedy in Mighty Bomb Jack was a trip.
In Final Fantasy 7, the death of Arrais was so sad.

In no particular order:
Discovering in Nintendo's Contra the 'up,down, up, down, left, right,
left, right, b, a, select, start' trick.
Peeing my pants when the first zombie jumped on me in the alley at
Silent Hill.
Finishing Commandos: Behind Enemy Lines (awesome game indeed)
When I played Age of Empires for the first time and thought it was
the world's most amazing game.
When I finished Atari's "Adventure" after the key kept being swallowed
by the lousy yellow dragon.
Playing 'Black Hawk Down' in multiplayer with other 14 persons, by LAN,
all in the same room... for 12 consecutive hours, only stopping to
munch pizza and drinking a pint, and crossing my mind that life
couldn't get any better than that.
The first time I touched an Atari, to play Pele Soccer... and
thinking what a blessing to be born in an age of such amazing and
perfect technology, lol

Spending the first 6 hours getting it all to work and then getting stuck into dishing out pain to your pals, ahhhhhh the good old days.

I may say that's the only thing I miss. Last LAN party 4 of the guys
couldn't play and none of us could smoke because they had their
babies in their kangaroo bags, and other 6 were receiving calls from
their wives... including me π
*sigh*
Such is life, I guess.

Was not a place for the ladies, not because they were not allowed or anything silly like that, just did not get any going to them.
Pity really.

Oh the joy.
Originally posted by WoodgieWell, I don't know, most seem to be organised by schools or youth clubs, and people over 20 seem to be the exception (and I was over 30 when I heard about LAN parties the first time).

Of course there are other reasons why I probably wouldn't go; I am not into gaming.
