Now I believe in cell phones for emergencies.
Don't forget you can play games and stuff on them too. 😕

They do. TV transmitters come nowhere near cell phone frequencies.
Not quite. Cell phones are in the 900 MHZ band, they were given those frequencies by the FCC, those frequencies used to be in the TV UHF band. I think it safe to say however, as more and more cable and satellite channels are used there will be less and less over the air broadcast. The exact frequencies are 869 to 893 MHZ on the receive end and the towers transmit 45 MHZ lower, at 824 to 848 MHZ. They maintain that differance so you can have what is called full duplex, the ability for two people to talk at the same time. These frequencies are somewhat higher than most TV stations now because those frequencies have been re-assigned from TV to Cell phone use.
There are still a lot of TV stations close to those frequencies,
Here is a link to all those frequenices. Actually it's an old one which doesn't show the cell phone frequencies but the numbers I gave are accurate.

BTW, Bees are not the only lifeform in trouble, here is a link to a reptile and amphibian decline.
