Explain how father can be younger than son.

father stuck in a glacier, son finding him 50 years later. father's face inside the clear ice a mirror image of the son's, except 30 years younger.

I think it was in some borges story?

I've been stuck in some strange places, but never in a glacier.

maybe you're in a deep freeze right now, dreaming all this.

if there are signs of other popsicles communicating with you telepathically, the odds are you're in a philip k. dick story. watch out, one of them is a baddie!

Grace under pressure both on traditional battlefields and off, in the many other confrontational arenas of life... thinking clearly with utter

disregard for public polls and personal risk; making difficult principled decisions; being a statesman, leader, good parent, trusted friend.
Note to self, call up webster and tell him to disregard any letters from you as they will only waste his time.

By taking vitamins, thinking pure thoughts and praying a lot. Andy, seriously, are you suggesting your date of birth precedes War Two?

Blindsided to say the least. Maybe I assumed you, Phlab and Duecer were roughly the same age. Thanks for putting me in the picture, Sir!

Hell, no. You've alluded to seniority previously but my assumption was apparently too well ingrained. And not a member of any victimology cult.

I'm young at heart... that's what counts.

That makes two.

Edit: Splain to me why you don't seem to catch the same senior criticism crap.

You're more vulnerable.

You seem to draw a lot of fire from certain users (for reasons we needn't go into here). Some of your more mean-spirited critics are willing to use age discrimination as one of their weapons. You sometimes feed the flames by using your age as a crutch or dismissing a lapse in judgment as a "senior moment."

And calling yourself Grampy doesn't help.

Good points. Wish I'd gone w/ 'Boston Lad'. Then at least some might conclude I had just turned thirteen. Wouldn't that be a kick in the pants.
