I assume they were painting nude. They'd liked you, that's why the had prolonged time for posing. You must have had felt lust in old buggers' eyes as bunch of crawling leeches on your young, firm, tempting body...!

It's possible to approach the painting of a nude in the same way as one would an undulating landscape whereby you use line and tone to delineate the form. Painting is an exercise of pushing back and pulling forward with colour. Plump bodies are far more interesting to paint than skinny ones. I doubt whether there was a lot of lust in looking at his body bu ...[text shortened]... ent of applying the luscious paint onto the virgin canvas to create those wonderful flesh tones.
Could be why I prefer photography.
I imagine the manipulation of light and form to be comparable to painting.

I stopped painting when I started my family. There wasn't enough space and time to completely devote myself to it which I had selfishly done for the previous 20 years and now I wonder if I'll ever get back to doing it?

I bet you can trace your ancestors right back to Derbyshire in England ,a small village named ...Clown ( actually it has an E on the end but that spoils the effect or affect ) .
To put it "lamely"...[sic]
The effect of doing X to Z was Y
Doing X may affect Z and the effect could be Y
Where:
X = leaving the 'e' at the end of word Y
Z = the word "Clowne"
Y = the word "Clown" conjugated with a double-entendre

must be because you're all still the same who were shipped off to
Australia by your feudal masters. Mine were surely rapists, thieves
and murderers. Difference between your ilk and mine is that I
overcame their past through willingness and effort. You chavs are
still barbaric subhumans by choice.
