@very-rusty saidIt’s scary riding pillion.
@divegeester
I like 4 wheels under me! 😉
When I was 17 a guy took me for a drive on a motorbike, that was my last time on one. I swear we were only inches from the ground on some turns

@divegeester saidi've owned seven, so far, in my lifetime...
Who he has or had a bike.
In the past I’ve owned:
Honda CB175
Suzuki GSX250
Honda 250N Super Dream
Harley Davidson Fatboy
interestingly enough, i'm shopping, without intensity, for my next...
bikes are similar to women,
lots of maintenance,
demanding,
lovely to ride...
@divegeester
Honda CR125R- Looking back; it was way too fast for a teenagers' 1st dirt bike.
@kquinn909 saidTake care!
Honda 50, Suzuki 125, 175, Honda 250, Kawasaki 900 (hit 150 mph). At 61 yrs. old I just bought a Suzuki DR650SE duel sport. Front end comes off the ground w/ a little gas in second gear. The end is near.
The bikes of choice at 16 (or was it 17) when I was that age were the Suzuki AP50 and the Yamaha FS1E (or Fizzy). Both had pedals as was the legal requirement for mopeds and both were speed restricted. I never had one but instead waited till I could legally buy the GSX250.
The mentalist bikes at that time were the 2-stroke “rinky-dink’s” like Yamaha 250 LC liquid cooled, the Suzy X5 and my favourite the Kawasaki triple cylindered 250 and also a 380 version I think.
TRIVIA ALERT : One of the Kwakas was featured in the original Mad Max movie being rideb by Goose inside the compound when he was recovering from his broken leg.
Mad Max featured some great late 1970s machines but the best imo was the Kawasaki Z1000.
@great-big-stees saidDid you try looking in your hand?....LOL... 😉
I have a hard time remembering my name sometimes, never mind motorcycles. Where'd I put my beer? Geeze.

Had a pocket rocket, RD250 2 stroke, Suzuki 3 cylinder 2 stroke, 550 cc. Strong bike, had a 2 minute love affair on 5 in California, where a girl was in another lane with her bike and we were passing cars together. Fun day.
But lost a daughter, she loved her Harley, got killed by a woman in a big caddie turned right into her without signalling, Darcy died instantly.
Gave up bikes after that.
@fmf saidThey both look extremely uncomfortable, especially the first one which also suffers from terrible videoing.
I had one of these when I was 17-18
