Recently there has been a spate of celebrities giving their children bad names. Now we have to add to this list Nicholas Cage. He has just become a dad and named his son KAL-EL. Yup thats right Cages son is SUPERMAN. Let the beatings begin.

Phew. It's a good thing that the world's not dumbing down, then. I was worried for a while.

Not true. A name creates expectation. By naming his son Kal-El he sets him up for future Problems. Nic Cage should know that seeing as he was born Nicholas Coppola. Francis Ford is his uncle. Nic changed his name so people didn't think he used his famous last name to make a career.
