What REALLY happened? What REALLY happened? A video of OBL from 27/12/2001 shows him looking very seriously ill indeed. If, as has been widely reported for years, he required renal dialysis every few days, how can this have been achieved (in necessarily sterile conditions with clean water and adequate power) given his constantly having to be on the move? He simply would not have survived. I think he's been dead for some years now.
Is is just possible that his recent "death" will shortly be followed by an act of terrorism by "Al-Qa'eda" by way of retaliation? Of course, that could then be used as justification for the US to step up operations in the Middle East.
No genuine photographs / no convincing video evidence / no corpse

BTW dyalisis every few days on the run is quite possible. For all we know thay sacrificed one of their own to give Osama a kidney. Suicide bombers or kidney donors. What do these people care? I am no Obama fan, but I certainly doubt that he would leave himself so wide open by making something of this magnitude up. I really think likelihood of it being true is way much higher than not.

Maybe it's cos I'm not American and can't tap into it, but we have bombings over here too. I want to see evil perpetrators of such crimes brought to justice, whether that be actual, long, drawn out punishment via isolated incarceration, or the quick and easy method of execution. Either way, I don't see anything to celebrate, which I hope doesn't sound sententious. I just genuinely don't see it. Once a crime like this has been committed, I definitely see the task ahead - to bring the enemy to justice. But I don't see how borderline delirious jingoism can be indulged in by anybody who still thinks about the nature of the original crime.
