Overlapping?

Overlapping?

General

Someone recently said: "The purpose of a job interview and the purpose of a message board are completely different. In what way do you think they overlap?"

The quote is not verbatim, and therefore it's a paraphrase, to add job, and adjust the article for the job.

Anyone here have any ideas on how to overlap them? And can it be done? If yes, please give at least one example of a successful overlap, and don't leave out any edges showing.

Butt seriously, it need not be a complete overlap. And as long as one has an edge overlapping, and touching, it can be considered a successful overlap, in the everyday sense of the word, and the thread too, overlapping.

Both may involve a degree of self editing. In an interview, one will present the best version of oneself and on a message board focus solely on one's time as an international spy.

Edit: My avatar should be above yours, not below it.

Thread warning. Overlapping one's arms, in the form of a hug, is fine, and the act of hugging a stranger can be a beautiful thing.

Just don't do this unannounced, from behind, at a cashpoint.

@Ghost-of-a-Duke

now you've gone and overlapped a violent robbery scene with a congenial discussion

tsk tsk

On the count of 3 you will awaken, and will not remember anything of all this overlapping, altered-state of mind.

I am disappointed you missed this opportunity to render him a chicken.

Sometimes I have to look up words in the dictionary to know what the mean. With you it's another matter, as I can t find the words to express the meaning. But I use my imagination to guess, up front.

I determined Rookie was not a good subject for a chicken. He did, courageously, defeat me on the chessboard, twice.

Besides, anyone can easily hypnotize a chicken. Stupid birds lay their eggs everywhere when they are not cooped up.

Anything to get the job, is not out of the question. Modesty is not good for a needy man.

I agree! The demonstration is over overlapping.

You got the job, and the ball back too. In the forums here, you can hold more heads in your hands than I can. I'm having problems just holding my own.

Success is too demanding.
