Now, don't get me started. Can you name a single politician at the Federal level, Democrat or Republican who has NEVER abused the powers of their office? I believe William Jefferson Clinton, the most revered Democrat since Kennedy not only bent a few rules, but several interns as well. I can go on for as long as you care to.

Obviously, unless you have a sitting President running for re-election, based on the laws under the constitution, no one would have experience as President. Now, if you are talking about experience in political office, (whether excecutive ot legislative branch), then of the two Presidential candidates, McCain clearly has huge edge in legislative experie ...[text shortened]... Biden say how Obama is qualified all of the sudden, (especially since Biden is on his ticket).
I just can't believe that! Changed their statement for politcal gain?
....
No, really? Politicians do that???

How about allowing someone to buy them lunch or entertain them at a function? How about an expense paid trip? These are not considered incentives but can be easily confused as bribes or a plea for special consideration. Would you agree with this? If not, then you don't have a clear understanding of ethical breach. Granted Senator Cornyn hasn't been around Washington very long, but he has accepted many of these baubles considered by many to be quite innocent. The funny thing is, if any of those very things occur at many businesses, it is grounds for dismissal from their job. A bit of a double standard there, wouldn't you say. Kay Bailey Hutchinson, on the other hand has been around for a long while and her links are amazing. Of course Phil Gramm, Lloyd Bentsen and John Tower were excellent collectors of items they never paid for. But, none of them even came near the legendary Lyndon B Johnson who was one of the greatest benefactors in history. LBJ was such a great American, he allowed the State of Texas to dump several truckloads of new railroad ties, several truckloads of stablized limestone on his ranch. He also allowed them to drop plywood, studs, shingles and many other supplies and didn't charge the State a dime for doing so. Then he allowed the Texas Department of Corrections to train inmates in new careers by teaching them to lay roadbeds, install irrigation, build buildings and other structures on his property, again, at no charge to the State. I guess it is just how you paint the picture, right?
