Nice one. I missed that. I was working at the Oasis gig at The City of Manchester Stadium, yawn. WHen I got home, I turned the tele on and managed to catch the last 5 seconds of Dave's guitar solo on comfortably numb.

Anyhow's, if you can't manage all those pedals straight away, I reckon all you need is a strat and any decent amplifier. And a shed load of compression and sustain. Oh, and loadsa practice. 😉

EDIT: Why's it coming through at 2Kb/sec. I thought torrent sites were supposed to be fast. 🙁

By the time The Wall was made they had no reason to "cash in" as you call it. DSOtM alone made them millions.
I also like some of Division Bell, particularly Keep Talking.

I got a fat strat 🙂 HSS but need amp .. I been playing direct into my computer with guitar rig .. amplitube. & nomad factory rock amp. I'm buying amp soon I seen this little laney lc15 im not sure which one im going to buy.. either marshall avt20, vox ad30vt or the laney lc15. I'm think more towrads the lc15 because its all tube.. ie tube pre & power stage.. where the other two are just tube pre-amp stage solid state power amps. And was then going to buy Boss ME50. I got nice condenser and tube pre-amp for that so should sound nice when i mic it.

As for the torrent I guess there cant be many seeds. 🙁

Isn't it true the the four-city tour they did for The Wall left them all basically bankrupt?

I've heard the Fender Blues Junior is supposed to be excellent. That's a full tube. You can pick them up for $400 in the U.S. (About $750 in the U.K. 😠) Is there a foot switch on this Laney? I want a small amp with full tubes and a foot switch facility. The neareat I have found so far is the Marshall AV 20.
