I am very sad at the death of the pope although i am not a Roman catholic myself. This was a really good man who rose from a very humble start in life to become head of the Catholic church. He helped to save a great number of Jewish people from the Nazi's during the war and played a major role in the ending of communism in Poland. It is a great loss to the world by the death of this great man.

the Pope did more good in this world then you have the ability to fathom... A man who helped bring down communism, bring religions close together for the first time in decades, and brought real tolerance into the limelight for the first time in the Church... those are just the at the top of the list... and enough to suffice the fact that he accomplished more in a couple decades for the better of this world then any of us will in our lifetimes... Your reasons for not liking the man do not even come CLOSE to outweighing the good this man has done... Furthermore, your true hatred for religion and god (whether he exists or not) is even more apparent in your post, and probably the only reason you decided to write your disrespectful, hateful, and quite simply, dumb post.
All I can say Is that John Paul cared a great deal about the world we live in. He commanded a great respect, not because he was the head person of a faith, but because he really did care. He was involved in numerous political situations, and resolved some of them for the better. He didn't have to do thais. He could have sat back and relaxed in the sanctity of his position like so many do. Any way. Sory for waffling. Respect man. Respect.
