What new flavour do you think there should be?
Roast beef and mustard.
This thread is probably VERY confusing to us Americans who have nooooooo idea what your talking about when you say 'crisps' and more confusion is caused by your veeeery un-American way of spelling FLAVOR.

Beef and mustard is already sold I bought it a while ago. I'd like to see cheese flavored beetroot crisps and onion flavored parsnip crisps myself.

I hate peeling potatoes... This is why I rarely do anything with potatoes. I prefer to use rice and salad as garnish.
But sweet potatoes sometimes need more then a peel, they have spots I find that have to be cut away so I buy them less often.

I'd love to try some that actually taste like potatoes.
Wash well, cut potato in half at equator. Cut those both in quarters starting at poles. Now cut wedges about thick as a pinkie tip so they are like nice little thick slats.
Spray or lightly oil pan throw wedges onto pan and sprinkle with just a little garlic powder. Toss them up and down and around, pick the ones you dropped up and place back on pan. Put more garlic salt on them.
Bake them at 400f for about 20 minutes.
Toss them about again.
Bake them at 400f for about 10 minutes.
Toss them about again and place in a safe place for a bit on the counter on a folded towel.
Start to prepare your steak, mushrooms, greenbeans, corn on the cob, summer squash and prepare salad.
When you're just about 10 or so minutes away from finishing the rest of the meal....
Broil them tates for about 4-6 minutes keeping a good eye on them.. toss, put back in and take out when everything is ready.
Timing is the key here.
Now, eat everything.
