Funny thing is, i started playing chess as a way of getting over a fairly expensive poker addiction.
Now it seems i have both on my hands.
Expect to see me trawling the streets with no shirt in the very near future.

So who's up for the a game Monday night?
Crowley, are you in or out? I know the ol' "in out" is what got you in trouble in the first place, but do you think you'll swing a game?
I think I have 4 players, although I think we'd still use pokerroom.com. Any objections?

If it's still at pokerroom, then maybe I'll swing by because it's an 23:30 here - it all depends on the baba, eh...

You're more than welcome if looking to unwind. I'll post the details here.

Good game last night with 7 players.
I have to admit that I was poxed lucky. First, I overinvested in a (missed) flush draw and with over 1500 chips in the pot, I put in one last desperate bet of 150. Thankfully, my opponent waited too long, auto folded, and my hand of nothing won.
Then, despite being well beaten, I won an all-in heads-up with sally, when the turn and the river gave me a miracle straight. And then the same thing happened with marcusr.
Happy days and hopefully next time we can get a full table,
D
